President Milei has now traveled 20% of his entire Presidency in other countries

If only he spent some time here and focused on our economy. Another trip!

I'm sure it is very frustrating to see him gallivanting around the world while people are struggling at home. Just remember that Argentina has a lot of liabilities coming due the next few years and needs outside help to deal with it. Eliminating deficits was a great start but it does nothing to solve debts of the past which are rapidly coming due. Milei is selling the Argentina story to governments, agencies and investors everywhere because the country needs them. The alternative is some combination of default and fire sales of key assets, which you avoid if at all possible.

I know it is very difficult for some Argentines to understand this. Many understand the trips to the US and that has paid dividends. Many don't think he needs to travel but Craig is right. They will need some serious IMF help heading into the future. Tons and tons of liabilities coming up.

Thank you Craig. You seem like a good person. You always have compassion for us. I understand some trips are necessary but not so much like this. You were right about his trips to the USA.

Let me ask your opinion Craig. How do you think it is fair for our politicians asking us to suffer the austerity but then get involved in scandal after scandal taking our money?

What about the senators that voted themselves 582% raises since they started while asking us to suffer? Is that fair @CraigM ??

Craig also does this look like he is selling the "Argentine story". Milei is going for his ego. Nothing more. What does this dancing monkey look like to you?

Well no one can admit his popularity is fading. Look at what they were doing at Lalapaloza Festival last weekend.

I definitely see a change of opinion with him. I don't know how that will translate to votes in the next election. That is too far away but this mess with Iran is not helping him at all. I can't see how his opinion at home or abroad will go up being the "most Zionist President in the world". He doesn't have good common sense which is probably going to be his downfall. His popularity is going down.

Just look online and read comments sections on posts and not many are as enthusiastic about him anymore.

Agree the opinion is shifting here. Many will always hate him but people are starting to blame him for their economic situation.

Half of the population believes that Milei is responsible for the economic situation

This was inevitable even under the best case scenario with austerity measures as they are. A case of too much too soon and it's not stopping with increases. Locals are at a breaking point. This war came at the worst time for Milei and his administration. They are making too many mistakes now. Libra scandal is revived with all the phone calls and message time line coming out.

Milei going around the world proclaiming to be the most Zionist president in the world only hurts his image.

Thank you Avocado. The short answer is that I hate it. It's awful that your government asks citizens to suffer while they steal. I also think it's very small-minded of them, but I saw the same thing in China when they were emerging after decades of communism. Even some of the successful companies, it was hard to trust management because they grew up in a system where there was zero trust. Management felt they had to take what they could as fast as they could. and then get their families out of China into places like Canada and Australia, because who knew when their government would confiscate their wealth or much worse.

To be fair. From the beginning about 45% that voted against him won't change their opinions no matter what. We could be in an economic revival and they would still say he is doing terrible.

Agree with Craig. I'm sorry @Avocado for what you are all going through. I feel fortunate that I have what I have and not affected much. The China example is good and I wish the politicians would stop the steal. Things change so suddenly here and politicians are often times kicked out that it seems like it's in their nature to just grift. I wish it was different.

I don't think it is fair for politicians to give themselves huge raises when they ask everyone else to suffer. It will be a long tough road.

Thank you. One last question Craig. Does this look like a person that is mentally stable? This is not AI. Typical day in the life of this maniac. Would Trump or any other leader around the world do this?

Even for the Milei fans out there they can't think the guy doesn't have some issues. I don't know why he does these kind of things and gives the other side more ammunition.

I don't care what anyone says. This guy has some serious mental issues. Forget about being on the spectrum.
