Just remember that Argentina has a lot of liabilities coming due the next few years and needs outside help to deal with it. Eliminating deficits was a great start but it does nothing to solve debts of the past which are rapidly coming due. Milei is selling the Argentina story to governments, agencies and investors everywhere because the country needs them. The alternative is some combination of default and fire sales of key assets, which you avoid if at all possible.If only he spent some time here and focused on our economy. Another trip!

Thank you Avocado. The short answer is that I hate it. It's awful that your government asks citizens to suffer while they steal. I also think it's very small-minded of them, but I saw the same thing in China when they were emerging after decades of communism. Even some of the successful companies, it was hard to trust management because they grew up in a system where there was zero trust. Management felt they had to take what they could as fast as they could. and then get their families out of China into places like Canada and Australia, because who knew when their government would confiscate their wealth or much worse.Thank you Craig. Agree with Craig. I'm sorry @Avocado for what you are all going through. I feel fortunate that I have what I have and not affected much. The China example is good and I wish the politicians would stop the steal. Things change so suddenly here and politicians are often times kicked out that it seems like it's in their nature to just grift. I wish it was different.
