I recall that Macri had a lot of job losses into his term too. But I seem to recall he had an upswing in jobs after starting at least. Milei's seems like all job losses in the private sector. Anyone have any comparisons between the two over the first 2 years?
It is exactly as you noted. After Macri was elected there was a lot of hiring. If you compare the monthly graph, the jobs didn't start going down until month 25. Look at how many jobs have been lost already. Milei is going to pass Macri soon only in year 2.

Wow. Thank you for that graph @import export. It does a good job showing just how many jobs have been lost. What is going to turn things around I wonder? The job losses seem to be accelerating not slowing down.

Imagine how bad Milei is. He lost so many jobs already and more going to lose jobs. Macri got us into huge debt with IMF. What a mess. What will turn things back around is kicking Milei out in next election. That will be a good start.

Great chart. The job losses are very concerning. I know a lot of those people are stuck working Rappi or Uber but many can't find jobs. Some found jobs but are underemployed and many aren't making enough to pay bills. I have seen homeless numbers go up in my neighborhood.

Great chart. I don't know too much about Argentine politics but a lot of the blame is from the Peronists but also many locals seem to put as much blame on Macri as well. I went to an asado where some well to do Porteños had no love for Macri either. Maybe Milei will go down that same path. Too soon to tell.
