Overstay in Argentina: fine, ban, or both?

Hi everyone, just wondering — does anyone know what happens (hypothetically) to a foreigner who overstays in Argentina by about 5 months, say in 2025? Would they just have to pay the overstay fine (I think it’s around 40,000 pesos), or is there a risk of being banned from re-entering the country? Like, could they be told at the airport that they can’t come back for 10 years or even indefinitely?
Asking for a friend who’s worried. Any recent experiences or info would help!

I overstayed by 4.5 months in 2023 and just had to pay the fine at the airport. No one said anything about a ban. They were super chill about it, just stamped me out after I paid.
