Visas How complicated is it to obtain residency in Argentina?

It's a great movie for sure! Yes trading is mostly online now, but the characters and the pump & dump have not changed much. Boiler rooms originated in Vancouver and Perth due to their mining roots. It was easy to get people excited based on a few narrow drill holes, because if it proved out then the value was enormous. But it was usually a mirage. The old joke goes "What is a mine? A hole with a bunch of liars standing around it."
Interesting roots of the "boiler room"! I love that Craig! I will have to do more research now on boiler rooms. You peaked my interest and I am going to go watch that movie now.

I'm still holding onto it, but there's only two days that matter - the day you buy and the day you sell. And get rich schemes will always be around which includes the pump and dumps.
That's right. Many of my friends get too stressed and bothered and worried. I just tell them to stay the course and don't look at their portfolios and adjust accordingly. If you are going to retire soon you don't want it riding in all volatile stocks. We shifted our stock portfolio over the years as we got older and eased into other investments like real estate which we rent out and make wonderful cash flow each month. I actually prefer real estate better as I get older. Consistent cash flow. We have 2 long term rentals with tenants that have not changed over They pay on time each month. We have 2 short-term rentals that we rent on Airbnb and also do well although some months can be slower but high season makes up for it.

I think tax dodgers like you have no care about women and children being bombed
ah, you're losing your usual reason, and becoming more like the tribal Peronists. sad to see. i give a lot of fucks about bombings...i've been to Afghan and Iraq, and over 50 countries, and i've been an anti-war Libertarian for 20 years now. so no, you don't know what the f*ck you're talking about. and i'll give you a little wisdom i got from a neighbor mendocino who explained why Argies evade taxes:

"in the USA, you get a refund at the end of the year if the IRS realizes you've overpaid. in Argentina, when you pay taxes it overwhelmingly doesn't go to roads and schools, but instead is fought-over by a few political elite thieves that enrich themselves while promising populist handouts to future voters"

he was happy to pay taxes if it actually went to anything. in the utopia of taxes being as local as possible, i would for sure not care about paying a reasonable amount based on the local needs. but that's not what Federal taxes are. and there are only 2 countries in the world that tax Foreign-Earned Income: Eritrea and the USA. did you know that? have you ever considered the other side of the argument? life is more than Fox News talking points; we are real people who don't want to pay for gov't services that we don't use and don't consent to. you can bitch all you want because i'm arguing against your retarded NPC 'opinion' (of which i can tell was given to you, and you've never actually examined) - but 95% of Argentines are on my side, even the Peronists. we all pay as little taxes as we can. some of us are just better at that than others.

I don't know about anything else but the USA works for the most part because of the taxes there. When my sisters kid fell from the tree house, she called 911 and an ambulance got there immediately. Same as the fire truck and police. She broke her leg and got taken to the hospital. The roads were perfect. All of that is paid by taxes.
this is literally debunked by any other private service that has replaced the government in the past. holy sh*t are you a Fox News bot, repeating propaganda from the 1990s? do you also think Saddam Hussein was helping Al Qaeda with 9/11, too? jesus, sometimes i forget that there are so many morons in the world. have you ever listened to even 10 minutes of any libertarian discuss how the free market works?? please educate yourself ASAP

I'm sorry if I was wrong but I just hear a lot of people that are anti-tax and they use any excuse. Still do not think it is right to totally evade taxes. Give up your passport if you want to do that. No reason to get hostile with me or use that kind of language.

Why does anytime someone disagrees with you all of a sudden they are a Peronist. I am far from that. You are the one that seems to be losing out on rational thought.

Now he call you Peronist and commie too! This prove my point this guy crazy! Let see how he does with IRS when he is deported back to USA and C54 do story on American that got deported for cheating ARCA on home purchase in Mendoza. My friend reporter say they will do story on him. He will be famous tax dodger in news soon! Watch this link soon.

Thank you for your service! Always admire anyone in the military that fought for this country. @StatusNomadicus I don't read all your posts. Are you advocating for people to cheat and evade taxes in Argentina too? Couldn't you make the argument all over the world that governments steal and not want to pay taxes? Do you have a big tax exposure in Argentina or the USA?

I have read lots of posts from Betsy and she is the last person I would accuse of being a Peronist. Not sure if coming to your new adopted country and advocating for evading taxes is the right approach. Good luck with that.

Would you really have C5N do a story on him? That would be below the belt.
