Agree bad timing but so has a lot of other things this campaign. Crazy run up to the elections. The polling still has LLA doing good but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I am sure they will probably undo or scrutinize most of those if Milei didn't know about them. All those changes sound like a lot of money in transportation costs alone. Doubt Milei's administration will be up for large expenses right now. No hay plata.

Yes they already said on the news that they will take a look at all of his appointees. Seems like an incredible amount of appointees or changes considering we are already 2 years into Milei's term and the guy has been at his job less than 1 year.

I think Milei will do just fine in the election on sunday. When I ask my friends that voted for him in 2023 if they are going to do the same for his party, they say they have no choice. They are not thrilled with many things but most say there is no real option to go back to things like before.

Exactly this. People don't want to go back to what it was like before. Argentines love to complain (I am married to one) but when it all comes down to it, many are better off than before.

Thanks. All my friends complaining about Milei I asked them who the alternative was and who they were going to vote for. And although they were doing a lot of complaining they couldn't answer who is better so that is how I knew. People will give him the rest of his term to see how things go.

Now my friends that voted for Peronist party say fraud was involved. Ironically I told them fraud was probably involved before in prior elections with the old system.

That is a nicer word. I always wonder how much fraud there is in these Latin American elections. I saw a video online of them bringing an autistic boy to the polls and voting and had his voting ballot folded down so he could only vote one way.

I don't hold any Argentine stocks now but I saw yesterday some went up as much as 50% in one day! Congrats Tony.

Well from what they are saying in the press the fraud was on the old voting ballot system. They found one school in the previous election in 2023 where Milei got 0 votes. And this time LLA got a ton.

I guess it depends on what your definition of long term is. 🤣 Here things change very quickly. We will probably go through many ups and downs before the next election in 2027.
