Expatsba's Top 50 restaurants (according to grok)

Thanks for these lists. Kind of surprised Sottovoce didn't make any of them, I loved that place. Ate there three times during my visit.
Yes! Totally. One of my absolute favorite restaurants. I think I'm probably the one that gave you the suggestion @CraigM. I used to live up on Avenida Alvear just 2 blocks up and I would eat here a few times a week. It's been around since my first trip in 2001. I've probably eaten here at least 300 times since my first trip. Many, many business lunches and dinners here.

It should be on everyone's must visit list. Great food and amazing service always.

You did give me the idea Mike, and then kept giving me reasons to go back!

Awesome. That's what I thought. I always recommend this place to all my friends and clients and no one has had a bad meal here.

It's on the Michelin guide.

You can typically se the menu here but they don't show the prices usually due to inflation. I went a few weeks ago with my wife and I think we spent like $250 USD with appetizers, a few drinks and entrees.

Holy cow that has gotten expensive. Can't remember what I paid exactly but it was a fraction of that, even with drinks.

Yes when you went it was much less I'm sure. The nicer restaurants have gotten expensive. We joked that we couldn't wait to come back to San Diego to pay lower prices. 🤣

Seriously, I can't imagine dining out at nice places with our kids in BA. We have it bad enough here in San Diego.

Keep in mind you can still go to neighborhood restaurants that are not as much as some of these nicer places but even those places are typically the same or sometimes more than in other countries. My friends from Spain were shocked last week seeing some of the prices compared to Spain.

I do not go out to eat at restaurants as I am living on my social security checks.

I can afford going out to eat but I have cut way back. I have a few friends groups where we would meet weekly for dining out for lunch or dinner but many of my friends are struggling now and we just go for coffee now.
