Blood test for testosterone, estrogen, cortisol and Vitamin D for regular check ups in Buenos Aires?

I'm wondering where you all recommend regular blood test for testosterone, estrogen, cortisol and Vitamin D for regular check ups?

I would prefer easy to go, can make reservations ahead of time and not wait. Can I just go to a lab like you can go in the USA or Europe? Or do I have to go to a doctor first? Strange here sometimes they want a doctor's order for stuff.

I prefer around Palermo.

Check out Centro Rossi.

But here much of lab work you need to see a doctor first which can be annoying. But you can do a video call now. Try Care There which is recommended here a lot.

Hi, you can check out SaludyVos in CABA. They do home visits to collect your blood and urine samples. It does not require any medical prescription and availability is usually the next day itself. You can also pay with your international card. They have plenty of pre-packaged tests as well, so I am sure you will find something you are looking for.
Thank you @bapal. That is helpful about not needing a prescription from a doctor. Strange a few places I called they said I needed a doctor's order. Thanks so much! Do you remember how much you paid for this?

Thanks for the tip about this place. In the past I have had to get a prescription to get lab work done.

Regarding the price, the site has all the prices listed online, unless it's a custom order, then you will need to reach out and find out for yourself. All the best!

Yeah, it's really confusing. Many things with these in-person labs are not clear, first the language barrier, then absolutely no idea of the pricing, medical order condition and then to top it all, have to message for hours to get some sort of response.

Thank you @bapal ! Very good and complete site and wonderful no doctor's orders needed. The prices seem reasonable too.

There is definitely a learning curve here for these. I had the same issue when getting tests. I also didn't understand first when I went to a lab and they said I needed an order from a doctor. I was like WTF? It is like they are allergic to working and making money. I also had problems because many here don't speak English at all. And at the time I didn't speak much Spanish.

I think even in the past 2 years things are much more transparent. It's annoying because most companies don't even have a website here which is strange. Even restaurants. I see more companies now with transparent pricing and websites which helps and will probably cause their competitors to have to do the same thing.

Some websites look like they were made right when the internet came out!

So true. When I want to remind myself how slow and behind the times BA still is I go to Rubilar's website!

We can't blame these businesses, really. In the past, things were quite volatile and it was insanely difficult to keep prices and services up to date. With more stability, you can see the "normal" things again. Pricing is one part, and having transparent and customer-centric sites is another. That comes with culture change, and I hope it will be the norm sooner than later. It is encouraging to see companies like SaludyVos and CareThere bring modern ways back in Argentina.

100%! I used CareThere and it felt night and day with the way everything else is here. It's painful living day to day compared to how easy everything is in the U.S.

The good thing is all of these companies should push others to rise to the occasion.
