The corruption just keeps stacking up it seems like. It's no wonder the country is considered more corrupt with Milei. Get this. Someone in the Milei administration was betting on Polymarket on the inflation index. They got busted and instead of announcing who got caught Argentina blocked access to Polymarket throughout the entire country of Argentina!


They ordered Google and Apple to remove their apps from the market. Polymarket was reported for operating without authorization.

Argentina becomes the first Latin American country to restrict access to it. What a joke.

I guess this would be expected the government insiders would take the guaranteed money if they know. I doubt blocking out all of Argentina will stop them.

No way they can stop this. If there is a market out there to bet and make money then the government officials are going to take advantage of it.

And it seems like based on what the President is doing there are no recourse at all and it's free reign to do whatever people want.

I think all politicians in Argentina will probably always be the caste that they say they are fighting against. I am not sure why Adorni keeps going on news programs. Every time I turn on the TV I see him doing some interview. He really is not a good public speaker and he digs himself more and more in the hole. Karina has like a 2% approval rating.

As an outsider this is what I don't understand. Doesn't Milei and his cabinet know that his sister is not well liked or respected? Not only by locals but outsiders see her as incompetent. Like why in the world would they have her address or speak to any investors in the USA or Canada? She doesn't speak English! I don't understand this administrations thinking on this.
