Lately I’ve been hearing the same story over and over again… people having to move back to their parents’ home because they just can’t afford rent anymore.
Lease renewals are becoming unaffordable, salaries barely cover basic living expenses, and saving money feels almost impossible. I already know several close cases, friends of friends (and some not so distant) who had to leave their place and move back to their parents’ home, not by choice but because they had no other option.
Honestly, it’s sad to see this becoming more and more common. And these aren’t isolated cases anymore, more and more news outlets are talking about it, like it’s a trend people are just expected to accept.
Something as basic as having your own place shouldn’t feel like a luxury.
