Politics Thread: President Javier Milei - From Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) to Today

Watched this and it was a good watch. You just know that Milei is probably done. Even with all this help from the US everyone is dumping pesos. It is probably impossible to turn Argentina around. Even if Milei does ok in the mid term elections, it is impossible for him to have much power. Country is too screwed up.

I watched this a few days ago. Excellent and he is right. Also does not help when the President and his sister keep getting busted robbing people.

Details are emerging of Milei's sweeping labor reforms. It would be fabulous for business owners. I don't think workers know what is coming.

- Working days extended
- Pay based on productivity
- Reduction in holidays
- Reduction in severance pay
- Easier to fire workers

Would make Argentina much more productive.

Argentina can't drastically improve without this change to employment law. Will be very impressed if they can push this through. VLLC.

Wow I did not realize that only 6.5 million people out of 46 million have official white registered jobs in the private sector. That is shocking!

Until they get all of these people in the formal economy agree with you guys not much can be fixed.
