In a new political meeting in the saga that the Government restarted weeks ago to unblock the votes for the Bases Law, the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, committed to the provinces of Together for Change to review the Income Tax floor , one of the conflicting points regarding the legislative debate. The restitution of the tax is part of the discussion on the fiscal package, which will be discussed in parallel or even after the renewed Omnibus project. But the details of that pact are closely related to the desire for the new impetus for Javier Milei 's founding laws to be successful in Congress.

The governors, and both in the Interior and in the Economy, confirmed that the main conclusion of the meeting was only the commitment of the Cabinet to a review of the initial offer on Profits. But, while the leaders asked that it be raised above the minimum of 1.2 million , the Government was more cautious and only admitted that "they will evaluate a new proposal", without further details. “Nothing was really defined. But the 1.2 that is mentioned is not confirmed ,” they said in the Casa Rosada.

Javier Milei will try to promote the legislative debate during the second half of April. For this, he commissioned Francos and his chief of staff to multiply the meetings with the leaders of the dialogue opposition to gain support. After seeing the heads of the JXC and Hacemos Coalión Federal benches, today's meeting, scheduled for almost two weeks, was with the leaders of the PRO and UCR districts. It started at 2:30 p.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m.

Ignacio Torres, from Chubut

The governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, was present; from Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio; from Mendoza, Alfredo Cornejo; from Corrientes, Gustavo Valdés; from Chaco, Leandro Zdero; from Jujuy, Carlos Sadir; from San Juan, Marcelo Orrego; from San Luis, Claudio Poggi; from Chubut, Ignacio Torres; and the vice head of the Buenos Aires Government, Clara Muzzio, representing Jorge Macri, who was not there because she had scheduled - suggestively simultaneously - an appointment with the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo , to discuss co-participation.

Meanwhile, Posse and Francos were supported, respectively, by the executive secretary of the government of the Chief of Staff, José Rolandi, and the Secretary of the Interior of the Nation, Lisandro Catalán.
