Expat Life: Local Discoveries, Global Connections

Thank you Argentina on behalf of all Russians that moved here to Buenos Aires!

Saw this online today. Wow there must be a ton of Russians if they have a sign like this at a middle school. My friend told me it's for a school in Palermo Hollywood. There must be a lot of Russians enrolled if they have a sign like this. That's great.

My friend there said it's for this school:

This is the school my Russian neighbors in my building send their kids to.

So many Russians in Buenos Aires Now

There are so many Russians that have moved to Buenos Aires that on the money exchange houses they even advertise exchange rates between Rubles. That perhaps is the best indicator to show just how many Russians have moved here and many more on their way.

Saw that post and a few other posts. Why do locals always comment that it is a Russian spy?

There was a Russian couple that moved to Argentina and ending up being spies. Putin just received them a while back. There own kids didn't even know they were Russian spies.

I noticed a huge uptick in Russians here. You can't walk past a park or playground without seeing all the young kids and babies. Perfect and ideal immigrants for Argentina. They blend right in.

Mishiguene is an awesome restaurant. It's more of a Jewish restaurant but they have really unique dishes there with great flavors. I've been several times and always was great.

I just went here recently. Very very good. Very unique dishes. Great wines.
