Hello everyone,
I want to study an online master's degree to have more job opportunities in Argentina. Specifically, a master's degree in Renewable Energy. I am thinking of studying it at TECH University, which is officially recognised in Mexico and could be validated in Argentina. If anyone has studied with them and can tell me more about their methodology and study system, I would be grateful. Thank you!
About
TECH Technological University, here’s what I can tell you:
🔹
Recognition: Yes, it’s officially recognized in Mexico, which is a good starting point. To
validate the degree in Argentina, you’ll need to go through the official process with the Ministry of Education (known as
“convalidación de títulos extranjeros”). It’s not automatic, but many people have successfully done it. I recommend checking the requirements carefully and gathering all necessary documents early on.
🔹
Study modality: TECH is fully online and uses a system that adapts to your schedule. The classes are usually in video or interactive reading format, and you take the assessments from home. It’s not super demanding in terms of live participation, which can be an advantage if you’re working or have other commitments.
🔹
Content: I’ve read that their programs are fairly up to date, but it also depends on the field. For Renewable Energy, TECH provides a solid theoretical base, but
it might not offer as much hands-on technical practice as an in-person university. Still, if you’re looking to grow professionally and complement the degree with work experience or specific certifications, it can be a good option.
🔹
My personal advice: If your goal is to improve job opportunities in Argentina, make sure the degree aligns with what local companies are looking for. Also, consider comparing it with other options like UNLa, UTN, or even distance programs from European universities that have official agreements with Argentina.
