Food & Drink Narda Comedor Palermo

On the weekend we were at Narda "Comedor Palermo", the atmosphere is charming, with a well decorated and spacious environment. From the first floor you can see the kitchen and the bar, which allows you to see how the dishes and drinks are prepared. As for the food, it is of excellent quality and the portions are generous. They offer vegetarian, vegan and celiac options, which is a great advantage. The service is attentive. However, the high cost and long waiting times to receive orders should be mentioned as less favorable points. It is a place to visit when you have time and want to treat yourself to a special treat.

We found out that Narda Lepes is a household name in Argentina, she is a very popular chef who stars in cooking and travel shows, writes cookbooks and hosts a radio show, so it was interesting to be there.

I was there last month, and we definitely had a great meal. However, I agree with you that the cost is quite high considering the quality and service. There are other places that offer a better dining experience at a more reasonable price.

I thought the prices were bad last year. Higher than other places but we recently ate here and I was surprised to see the restaurant very empty compared to last year when it was very full and packed with people. Someone posted this menu on another post. The prices were even higher than this. I did not take a photo of the menu. I believe the prices were about 10k more per item.

The portion sizes were also much smaller vs. last year. I thought the portions were generous last year but now not so.

I have been commenting for a while how expensive Buenos Aires is and often say it is as expensive for many things than the United States or even Europe. I am glad some agree with me now and you will see more articles stating this...

I told you all prices were getting ridiculous. It is good to hear back from you @JorgBhack a year later. I agree with you that many places are cutting portion sizes making the normal dishes much smaller. I guess they are trying to save money but they are charging double and the size is half at some places. Many restaurants will probably go under if this keeps up. The tourists aren't coming either. Down significantly from last year.
