Government slashes funding for pensioners’ medical services

There are a lot of people that hate K's so much they won't vote for it even if they will be worse off. Many of the young voting for him also have rich parents that will support them.

But I know a lot of older people that voted for him that aren't in 2027. They admit they made a mistake.

But look how stupid Milei voters are. They literally can't afford to live here yet they will still vote for him in 2027. Many like her.

I think there’s some truth to that. A lot of people here didn’t really vote for Milei, they voted for something different, something that wasn’t the same as before.

The only group that seemed to vote for him with real conviction were younger voters. For many others, it was more of a rejection vote than genuine support.

The bigger issue is that people feel like there are no real options. If you’re strongly anti-K, you’re never going to vote for someone like Massa, it all feels like more of the same.

So it ends up being less about choosing what you truly want, and more about choosing what you don’t want.

This is true. But look at the supermarkets. They are dead now. Never see things so slow now. I would think this will translate to a vote against Milei in 2027 unless they turn this around. It's hard to say so early but if salaries don't catch up they are finished.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same, supermarkets (and a lot of stores in general) feel way quieter than before.

I think the drop in consumption is real, people are just being a lot more careful with spending. When salaries don’t keep up, the first thing that gets cut is everyday consumption.

That said, I’m not sure it’s enough on its own to predict how people will vote. In Argentina, things can change pretty fast, and a lot will depend on whether people start to feel any recovery closer to the election.

Right now it definitely feels slow though, no doubt about that.

People are using their credit cards to eat!

It’s true, more and more people are getting into debt with credit cards and digital wallets.

The underlying issue is salaries and pensions , they’re just not enough for people to make it even halfway through the month.

The government should be thinking about a policy or law that actually addresses this problem.
