From Palermo to Villa Devoto: apartments and land auctioned
As every month, Banco Ciudad will hold a series of public auctions of properties without heirs located in different neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Although this article focuses on real estate, it will also auction other types of merchandise such as vehicles and jewelry.
Property prices range from US$6,500 to US$820,770 for lots located in highly desirable areas. Interested bidders must register up to 48 business hours before the auction on the bank's auction website and transfer the deposit (the amount varies depending on the specific conditions of each auction). They can participate in the auctions online from a computer, cell phone, or tablet .
The procedure is as follows:
A one-bedroom side apartment will be auctioned in Palermo.subastas.bancociudad.com.ar
A studio apartment will be auctioned in Villa Devoto.
On August 6, a property consisting of two homes, located in Villa Urquiza, will be auctioned.
Meanwhile, on Franklin Roosevelt Street at 5434/38/42, a 280 square meter lot with no improvements, measuring 10 meters wide by 28 meters deep, will be auctioned on August 27. It includes a two-story residential building with the potential for a maximum build height of 22.8 meters. The base price is US$422,000 , with a US$12,660 security deposit.

How to participate in the auction
Those interested in participating in any of this month's auctions must register in advance on the Banco Ciudad platform . While the prices of the properties being auctioned are expressed in dollars, payments must be made in pesos based on the BCRA dollar exchange rate.The procedure is as follows:
- Register on the Banco Ciudad portal and create an email address.
- Provide a bid guarantee equivalent to 10% of the base value established for each lot, up to 48 business hours prior to the auction date.
- Be of legal age.
- Please note that if you are awarded the contract, you will be required to pay 21% VAT on the sales commission.
Palermo
A one-bedroom side apartment is being auctioned at 1173/81/83 Gascón Street . It is located on the eighth floor and has a total floor area of 25 m². The starting price is US$33,500, with a US$1,005 deposit, and the auction date is August 27 .
