Finding a job - Where to work in Argentina if you don’t speak much Spanish?

Hi guys! I’m planning to move to Buenos Aires in a couple of months. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding a job in Buenos Aires if you don’t speak Spanish yet?
I’m taking Spanish classes but it’ll take some time until I can really learn the language.
If you’ve got any tips or ideas, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Teaching English or working as a tour guide are probably your best options. In Argentina, many people want to learn English and Buenos Aires receives many English-speaking tourists. But as a local, I’d recommend learning Spanish — it’ll give you many more job opportunities.

Honestly, not speaking Spanish can make it pretty tough, but it’s not impossible. Teaching English is usually the easiest option, lots of expats do that to get by. You could also look for remote jobs with foreign companies or freelance online while you learn the language.

I would imagine almost everyone would tell you to get a remote job before moving to Buenos Aires.
If that is not possible, you better have a lot of savings on hand because even if you do find something locally soon after the move, chances are, it's not going to pay well especially since you don't speak Spanish (making all kinds of assumptions since you didn't provide any details about your qualifications).

Jobs are VERY tough to find in BA. Many, many looking for a job. If you don't speak Spanish you are SOL. If you don't have a lot of money you better find a sugar daddy/mommy.
