Same for me. I like to move around. I know a lot of friends in different areas. I have friends and family in the US and go back to Boston for Christmas to spend time with them. I like to go to Brazil where I have some friends and Mexico where I have a lot of ex girlfriends. Then I spend most of my time in Buenos Aires.

Please note that the 'subscription' referenced is solely a construct of Medium.com and has no relation to me.
Subscribing to Medium is a straightforward process, typically handled through their website or mobile app. They offer a tiered membership system that grants access to unlimited reading and supports the writers on the platform.
How to Subscribe
Create or Sign In to an Account: Visit Medium.com and sign up using an email address, Google account, or Apple ID.
Navigate to Membership: Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner (on the web) or bottom-right (on the app) and select "Membership" or "Upgrade."
Choose a Plan: Medium usually offers two main tiers:
Medium Member: Unlimited reading, offline reading on the app, and a "Member-only" badge.
Friend of Medium: A higher-tier plan that provides more financial support to writers (4x more than a standard membership) and allows you to share "Friend Links" that bypass the paywall for others.
Select Billing Cycle: You can choose to pay monthly or annually. Annual plans typically offer a discount compared to the month-to-month rate.

Enter Payment Details: Complete the transaction using a credit/debit card or via Apple Pay/Google Pay if you are using the mobile app.
Key Considerations
The Metered Paywall: Without a subscription, Medium allows you to read a very limited number of "Member-only" stories per month for free. Once you hit that limit, you’ll need a subscription to keep reading those specific articles.
Support for Writers: A portion of your subscription fee is distributed to the authors of the stories you read, based on their engagement metrics.
App vs. Web: If you subscribe via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your billing will be managed through those respective platforms rather than Medium’s website directly.
