What happens if Argentina gets too expensive? What are alternative cities/countries to move to when it's overpriced in Argentina?

Ordered this medium pizza a few days ago and it cost $20 😢
Crazy food prices in BA. Has it slowed down @Jakoval? I was paying $20 USD a pizza before I moved out but the pizzas were bigger than that. Hard to believe restaurants can charge that in BA. They have to hit a limit on how high they will pay before going out of business.

Nuts how much Coke goes for in Buenos Aires. You can see how cheap it is in London. 3 for 4 quid.

three bottles for 8,000 in the UK

That's about 2x the price here in Rio, these days. Not all is greener on this side of the border, but I've gotta say, I have not missed Argentine grocery or restaurant prices one bit.
Good to hear from you. It would be interesting to read a comparison from you. I know Rio well. I enjoy the beach vibe but I have found the safety and crime situation is much worse in Rio vs. BA. But much better supermarket and fruits and vegetables there. How is life there @Darksider415?

Crime is rampant in Rio. You have to watch yourself, especially if you're a gringo and stick out. BA is much safer.

My sister sent me a picture of this burger street vendor and look at the prices. The most expensive one is beef burger at 40 Baht which is roughly USD1.3 or 1800 pesos. Sometimes I'm tired of how things are so expensive here. If only the wage would catch up. 😞

It is just ridiculous how expensive food is here in Argentina. Often times when I go home to the US to visit family it is less expensive than I pay for the same thing in Buenos Aires. You are right @Jakoval the salaries don't support these prices.

Doubt that is accurate. Is going out to eat included in that? If he is claiming so I call bullshit.
I also don't believe that budget. He has groceries but only has food delivery for $344 for all of a month? Does not look like he is including any restaurant expenses. Also doesn't have any medical insurance on that so you'd have to add that. Doubt you want to live anywhere and not have coverage.

Is tuition really that cheap? I talked to some people that are spending more than that for one child for tuition.

As a couple or single person with paid off place one can live off $1600/mo.

Even less so if you remove cleaning and delivery services. Would be too bare bones for many - add in travel, entertainment, etc and cost goes back up.

That does not sound like it can be true on groceries. For 4 people only $517 usd per month? My husband and I spend more than that for the two of us. We spend much more than that dining out to eat. I wonder why he didn't include that for as detailed of a budget. Then claims $62 on Sodastream alone. So does not sound like grocery bill can be so low. One of our biggest expenses is dining out.

I'm not sure how many companies provide 100% of healthcare but private pay for a decent plan will be more than that.

Also no rent. But I don't see any monthly condo fee. So even if you own a paid off place you would still have monthly expenses unless you have a PH with no fees.

It is fake. He is very pro Milei poster. Always posts only pro Milei. His numbers are lies. Look at the comments from local people. All say they are double his expenses even with no kids. 🤣
I follow him and generally enjoy his posts but I don't believe that grocery bill. I also own my own place but my monthly condo bill alone is over $400 USD per month now. I guess without healthcare costs, food or kids anywhere can be done cheap. But clearly he isn't adding in all the fees. Our grocery bill is many times what he is claiming with 2 kids. Maybe he starves his kids.
