In advance of tomorrow's Federal University March to Plaza de Mayo, the national government is preparing a strong security operation to guarantee public order and circulation in downtown Buenos Aires. Patricia Bullrich , Minister of National Security, coordinates with her counterpart from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), Waldo Wolff , the deployment of forces, the logistics according to the map of the planned mobilization.

When the call for tomorrow's march, originally made by the University of Buenos Aires , became known , the Government chose to confront the university system and Bullrich maintained that the decision was to apply the Protocol for Public Order , known as the “Anti-picketing Protocol.” ”. This is the instrument that the official implemented since she took office on December 10, and was carried out in each picketer mobilization, social movements or political spaces.

However, there were massive mobilizations for anniversaries, such as the one on March 24, in which the Government did not apply this protocol. Although there was preventive deployment of forces, officers did not intervene to prevent street closures. From the Ministry of Security they explained to Infobae that the implementation of this measure is related to the content of each mobilization. “Moving people and militants to cut streets, block accesses and picket is not the same as some type of peaceful call where circulation is guaranteed,” the Bullrich team explained to this medium.

On this occasion, the Government set off alarms when it learned that tomorrow's mobilization was joined by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), the two CTA, political spaces, such as Kirchnerism, the Radical Civic Union, the Civic Coalition, social movements and picketers It is expected that the mobilization will be massive and that it will generate cuts in the center of Buenos Aires and a collapse in traffic in the vicinity of that area.

Bullrich referred to the issue last night, when asked during an interview on the LN+ channel. “The protocol always has to do with the reality of the people who go,” mainly because if there is a mass of tens of thousands of protesters, control of that protest becomes relative for the security forces. And in relation to the participation of unionism, the minister warned: “We think that in this march there may be a provocation, that the CGT will come together, that the entire left may have come out. They are the stable cast of people who march. It is a provocation, wanting to create a situation to move from here to eternity. “We are going to be careful.”

From the organization of the march they sought to put cold cloths and called to maintain “peace.” When asked by Infobae, they pointed out: “ No one is thinking about blocking .” “It would be a huge mistake if they repressed the students and teachers.” From the UBA, the Teachers' Association remains in contact with the Government to try to build bridges and guarantee peaceful mobilization.

Infobae learned that the Ministry of Security will deploy officers from the four federal forces. The Argentine Federal Police, the National Gendarmerie, the Argentine Naval Prefecture, and the Airport Security Police will intervene. The minister coordinates with Vicente Ventura, Secretary of Security, the execution of the operation. The forces controlled by Bullrich will concentrate on the surveillance of national buildings, under federal jurisdiction, such as the Casa Rosada and the National Congress. They will do the same at the entrances to the City, to guard bridges and federal sections, with the aim of "avoiding blockades or disturbances."

Meanwhile, from the City, Waldo Wolff coordinates the protocol with Diego Kravetz, Secretary of Security of Buenos Aires, and remains in contact with Bullrich. The officials will be based tomorrow at the Federal Police command center, in the center of CABA. When asked by this media, the Ministry of National Security stated: “We are going to see how many people mobilize, if they demonstrate peacefully and how they behave.”

It should be remembered that the conflict was unleashed by the claim led by the UBA due to the lack of budget that affects the operation of the largest university in the country and the rest of the national universities.
