I wasn't too impressed with the beaches in Cartagena other than getting on a private boat and venturing out. The beaches in the city were not good. I have never been to Santa Marta.

wong i agree categenia has way too many people. go to the beach and have a costant flow of venders. it sucks. my journey took me to baraquilla. too industrial. last stop santa marta. i enjoy the big island of hawaii where the ironman take place because it has rocky beaches and is more about swimming and fishing. my first trip to santa marta i realized thats were familys go not tourist. i stayed in a hilton hotel on the water 10 th floor for 195.00 a night it included breakfast and dinner on the house. great place to stay and look around. i was pleasantly surprised. hope you go some day

Just asking because I am curious why don't you just rent an Airbnb in Colombia while you are there? It doesn't sound like you are there too often. Seems like more of a hassle than it is worth. @jbeas176 are you able to rent it out when you are not there?

bingo. i have owned a place in BA for 20 years. aside from maintenance its rents enough that i have not had to pay anymore money. thats not through airbnb its word of mouth. it works for me. will do the same in santa marta.

TACO. russia has pledged there support on land attacks. china is right behind them because of the money maduro owes them. if some how russia and ukraine come to an agreement, putin will have the resources available to offer to venezuela. i personally think trump doesn’t understand the region. your thoughts?

If I were the President of Colombia I would be nervous. The precision of the strikes by the US government were impressive. Trump just said that he has offered help to Mexican president as they are also a narco state. Narco king pins in Mexico should also be nervous now. Latin America is quickly swinging to the right.

What would be your game plan for it to have happened? Maduro was literally taunting Trump to come and get him. Hilarious to me. And the President of Colombia just made a video doing the same thing. It would be nice for him to go down the same way.
