Expat Life: Local Discoveries, Global Connections

These Are The 5 Most Popular Digital Nomad Destinations Right Now According To Travelers - Travel of Path

It has been interesting reading all the X posts from all the foreigners in Buenos Aires for the Dev Connect conference. It seems like everyone is falling in love with Buenos Aires. Have not read any negative posts other than a few people getting their cellphones stolen. See BA still ranking as one of the best Digital Nomad cities in the world.

I agree it has been fun reading some of the posts from the conference. Big success with so many people from all over the world loving on BA. It is a fun city.

Just about every single day 😉
I can imagine! I was just in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Phuket last month. I had an incredible time. Best food in the world! I think I would be depressed stuck with food in Argentina after coming to Thailand. Most flavorful food I ever had. And cheap!!!

You see how barrio chino gives you a kind of vibe like you're in Disneyland. I mean it feels like that for Argentinians to me. All things exotic for them especially on the weekend. The place is packed. And all those new and big Chinese bazaars selling knickknacks and household stuff (with human CCTV standing on tall stools on each end I might add jajaja). Can you imagine putting a Thai 7-11 here in Buenos Aires? The line will never end. I miss our 7-11.

Why doesn't someone put in a Thai style 7-11 in BA. I think it would make a fortune! Love love love the 7-11 in Asia. I honestly didn't want to leave Thailand and I want to figure out how I could live there. No need to buy a place. The rents are super cheap there! My friend is renting a killer apartment in Bangkok with amazing view, phenomenal gym and rooftop pool all for $600 USD per month!

I can't believe how much Chinatown in BA has grown. I have to avoid it on the weekends now because it's difficult to even walk in the street. I remember going many years ago and it was very boring but boy has it sure changed and it is growing more each year. Since they put that subway line seems like everything exploded and I read they are going to keep developing in that area.

Makes me happy to see so many young kids and things happy. I don't think the restaurants are too good there but something different.

I miss Thailand. Some of my funnest traveling experiences were there.
