Every December 8, facing Christmas, the tree is put up and the New Year's Eve holiday season begins . With Sanmta Claus as the main protagonist, the boys and girls of the family immerse themselves in the fantasy that includes letters, gifts and photos.

In this context, more and more shopping malls, stores and other establishments are joining the Christmas circuit and inviting families a themed shows, as well as posing between prominent trees and the classic character in a red suit.

Here, a selection of proposals around Santa Claus, both in the City and in the province of Buenos Aires.

1- Alto Palermo Shopping​

The classic photo with Santa Claus will be possible from December 8 to 23 on the mezzanine of Alto Palermo. Between the 8th and the 22nd the available times are: from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 4:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. On the 23rd, meanwhile, the image can be immortalized from 3 to 5:30 p.m., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 8:45 p.m. to midnight.

In addition, another Christmas activity will take place with an interactive light show in BASE, the shopping's gastronomic space. It will be from December 15, every day and until 11 p.m.

2- DOT Baires Shopping​

The photo with Santa Claus at the DOT can be taken until December 23, every day from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., except Wednesdays, when it will operate from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

3- Abasto Shopping​

Until December 23, it is possible to reach Santa Claus at Abasto on the third floor of the shopping center, in Neverland. The proposal will be active at the following times: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.

4- Alcorta Shopping​

Until December 23, the space where Santa Claus will be is the first level of the shopping center, between Volvo and Nespresso. The protagonist of Christmas will be accompanied by an elf.

5- Bullrich Patio​

Santa Claus will be available for photos until December 23, from 1 to 2 p.m., from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on the mezzanine of the Libertador entrance.

6- Alto Avellaneda​

With a stand called “La Casita de Santa Claus” Alto Avellaneda celebrates Christmas until December 23. It will operate in three time slots: from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m., except on December 23, which will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:45 p.m. to midnight.

To access the photo with Santa Claus it is necessary to reserve an appointment, or by order of arrival.
On Tuesdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a special schedule adapted for people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).


7- Bocha​

This December 8 Bocha is preparing for Christmas in its spaces located in the Campo Argentino of Polo. The star of the day will be the traditional 10-meter-high tree sponsored by Carolina Herrera, which will be lit at 8 p.m., accompanied by a Christmas show for the whole family.

At the same time, there will be photos with Santa Claus, Christmas show, trampolines, inflatables and the classic gastronomic walk. Starting at 5 p.m., in addition, Santa Claus and his helpers will be present on a sleigh.

Santa Claus will also be present on the following dates so that boys and girls can take a photo with him: Saturday the 9th, Sunday the 10th, Friday the 15th, Sunday the 17th and Friday the 22nd of December, from 5pm to 9pm.

8- Parque de La Costa​

The Parque de la Costa welcomes Santa Claus every Saturday and Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., until the 17th from December. There the boys and girls will be able to take photos and leave their letter for the tree.

In addition, they will set up a giant tree 9 meters high at the main door of the place and a thematic parade with more than 20 artists who will tour the entire space with the most anticipated characters.


9- Alparamis​

“Santa Claus lights the Wishing Tree” is the invitation that Alparamis makes this year. Santa Claus and the magical characters of the village illuminate the tree with a brief light and music show in front of our Olivos location ( Av. del Libertador 2229). From Tuesday to Sunday, at 8:30 p.m.

10- Plaza San MartĂ­n, Mar del Plata​

The municipality of General PueyrredĂłn carries out the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree this December 8th starting at 6:00 p.m. From that time on they will have a space coordinated by Library staff, where boys and girls will be able to write their letters. A giant Santa Claus will be set up at the location who will accompany the boys and girls in delivering these messages.

From 7 p.m. there will be artistic and gastronomic proposals, the presentation of the Children's and Youth Orchestra, the performance of the Sea Guard and the interpretation of Christmas carols by the Municipal Symphonic Band. Around 8:30 p.m., the lighting of the Christmas tree and the musical closing are planned by the band Costumbres Argentinas. In addition, there will be food trucks and a Christmas fair with craft stands.
