Newcomer Question about Villa 31

Not sure if this is real or not but I saw this online. Some guy claims he rented an Airbnb in Villa 31. Doesn't look half bad.

Absolutely NO ONE has any need to go to Villa 31. I can't understand why anyone would even want to see it. I know a tourist that went to see it and got robbed of everything.

Actually there are tours they do through Villa 31. They do food tours now. It's organized by the members of the community. I guess how they do tours in favelas in Rio. They have a police escort!

I don't understand why a tourist would want to go to Villa 31???

He is a YouTuber that does stuff like this for his channel. He formally went in alone but now he has bodyguards and stuff. Actually it didn't look too bad. I watched a few other videos of Villa 31. Not my cup of tea. Have anyone gone in? Saw they have some tour now.

My friend go last year to this. She said it was interesting. Not dangerous. She have police man guard.
