I am also a big fan of Villa Del Parque and also Villa Devoto.I’d definitely recommend Villa del Parque! It’s a super chill residential neighborhood with lots of trees and parks, and it’s pretty well connected. It’s got that classic Buenos Aires feel but without the crazy crowds of places like Palermo. Also, prices are way more reasonable. Not a touristy area, but there’s still a lot of local life. You should check it out!
Buenos Aires is full of so many wonderful neighborhoods. On our Neighborhoods section we have all of them detailed with descriptions of them. You can see it below:Everyone talks about Palermo and Recoleta, but what about the lesser-known neighborhoods? I’m curious, what are some hidden gems in BA where you can live comfortably without breaking the bank? Any personal favorites?
I walked around in these areas and they were nice.I am also a big fan of Villa Del Parque and also Villa Devoto.
I have been on your website a few times and never saw this neighborhood section. Great descriptions in each neighborhood! I'm going to add some to my list to walk around and visit. I like how it gives you prices per sq. meter in each area. Very helpful!Buenos Aires is full of so many wonderful neighborhoods. @Blockchain , some nice squares and some great restaurantsI went out to meet a girl on Tinder from Villa del Parque. Nice area. I will have to check out Villa Devoto. What is nice about Villa Devoto @GlasgowJohn ?
Thank you! I'd love any recommendations for nice restaurants out there. Thank you. It was peaceful out there. Less dog crap on the sidewalks too!@Blockchain , some nice squares and some great restaurants
The restaurants in a lot of these areas outside of the really touristy and popular areas like Palermo are much cheaper too. It's worth getting out to explore. One of my goals this trip is to check out all of the neighborhoods. I'll go one in each day to another one I haven't been to. I was surprised there are even Airbnbs in all areas.@Blockchain , some nice squares and some great restaurants
You wont go wrong with Alicia or Mecha. Decent prices and good food.Thank you! I'd love any recommendations for nice restaurants out there. Thank you. It was peaceful out there. Less dog crap on the sidewalks too!
What does the typical meal there cost for 2 people assuming appetizer, main and a drink or two each? Are prices going out in the less affluent neighborhoods too? Probably not as much as Palermo? You wont go wrong with Alicia or Mecha. Decent prices and good food.
I haven't been to that area in a while but I would doubt that prices haven't gone up in those areas too. The past few weeks I can feel prices going up even higher. I think March/April will turn out to be higher inflation months.@Uncle Wong , I havent eaten there for 4 months. I cant recall to be honest and if i could it would no longer be relevant beacuse of inflation.
In any case at the time , boith seemed to be reasonable.
March they already said the inflation is higher. Probably will end the month at 5% to 6% inflation this month.I haven't been to that area in a while but I would doubt that prices haven't gone up in those areas too.
