I Took a Train to Tigre—and Found a Different Argentina

How much does the train cost these days to go up to Tigre? I haven't done it for many years.
The Mitre Line (Retiro to Tigre):

With a registered SUBE card: $450 ARS
With an unregistered SUBE card: $900 ARS
Paying in cash (at the ticket window): $900 ARS

The direct train still leaves from the Retiro Mitre station, takes about 50 minutes to reach the Tigre terminus, and runs every 15 to 20 minutes depending on the time of day.

That is great value! I have never done it and I lived in Retiro for a few years. I will have to do it when I come back.
