I am recently widowed , husband was Argentinian.
His sister inherited their apartment from their mother(not him), but she wants to add me to the Title/Deed as she depends on me financially and I spent around $50K US to help renovate
two possibilities
1. in case she passes away, she wants me to own it.
2. Perhaps easier to add me to title/deed as an owner while she is living?
Not sure which ever is easier and more cost effective.
I assume Option 1 is if she passes away, this is similar to adding me to a will or testament?
Option 2 would be like adding someone to title here in USA (In CA its called Quitclaim)
What are the steps involved? I am sure we need to get an attorney once we know what the steps are
