How much is typical to pay a maid or housekeeper in Buenos Aires?

Can anyone tell me the going rate to pay a maid or housekeeper here? No one here seems to want to get paid by the month. We initially rented an Airbnb here and found a nice maid and she charges by the hour. I offered her a job to get paid by the month but she doesn't want it. She said she prefers to work by the hour. But what started out as 7,000 pesos an hour she jumped up to 10,000 pesos an hour or a little over $7 USD per hour. That was a big jump.

Now she is asking me to pay for her bus fare into the city too. She is already in the city to clean the Airbnb's. Is it me or do people just want to make the gringo pay more? I can't tell.

Housekeeper's keep increasing their rates. I'm paying 10k per hour too. She raised it last November to that. It typically takes her 2.5 hours to clean my 2 bedroom apartment. I don't pay her transportation as she is already in the city doing other work.

I'm paying 9,000 pesos per hour. I do pay her viaticos each time she comes because she lives in Quilmes. My neighbor that has a full time maid pays 800,000 pesos per month and she comes M-F all day.

I live out in the boonies so it is less. I pay 6k pesos per hour.
