I am sorry to hear about these huge increases but it sounds like the rates were crazy cheap before. What are the locals doing on private plans? I assume many of you are on pensions or retirement plans in USD. How are the locals who earn in pesos handling these massive increases in healthcare costs?

It's difficult to understand how people can afford an increase of 300% in only 6 or 7 months.

It is very difficult for those of us that earn pesos. Life is expensive for us. My family help me with my medical insurance each month now. I cant afford it my own.

speaking of the actual topic - Hot Sale - did anyone actually get anything good? all the prices i saw the whole week were just the same as always, but with flashy banners and "% OFF" discount labels. but i didn't order a single thing, whether whey protein or appliances (even though i wanted to)

I wondered about that with vitamins. We always load up at Costco when we go back to the USA. I hear many people complaining about multi-vitamins and they are very expensive or mostly not available even on Amazon or Mercado Libre to Argentina.

I know people like that too @StatusNomadicus. They complain about being able to get by and they always have the latest iPhone and a fancy Apple computer. I have done well in my career but I don't even feel like I need those things!

You a big jerk! I had to go to Spain for 4 months to be with my aunt who was sick and die! Why you have to be asshole all the time! I very close with my aunt. I the closest to her. I care for her night and day! I struggle. My aunt die and leave me all her things. I lucky get inheritance from her but that situation just change.

Don't worry. It look like instead of just being smart and shutting his mouth he still no learn. My cousin in Spain but he has employee working on file already. They will have a list. Not difficult he say. Then we find out who it is. My cousin will send name to reporter friend. My cousin say to me he will go to seller first and give chance to turn in other people. The realtor, lawyer and @StatusNomadicus all have big problems.
