sorry i cant provide the kkw’s used. the administer just said that was the amount. it small apptox 52 sq meters. i ran the a/c at 23. this is way out of line. i have been paying electricity bills for 20 years. never anything like this. i need to find out why. if you rented my place the rent would be almost prohibitive

You should ask her to send you the copy of the bill. I am not sure in a small 52 sq meter apartment you could run up a $400 dollar monthly bill even using AC every day. Something can't be right.

I am not sure but maybe they read the meter wrong? My friend said that happens too. I don't think a small apartment like that can generate that many kwhs.

I have no idea about any of this but I would agree that it is unlikely that can be right. If you look at some of Buysellba's post on X they post utility bills all the time. They had 2 bedroom apartments they said are booked every single day over a month period and their bill was about half of what yours are and their bill was summer too.

You should ask them to see the copy of the bill before just paying it. I heard there is a lot of fraud by management companies in BA.
