Yep, and she and her entire immediate family is barred from entering the USA.
Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has been barred from entering the United States due to her involvement in significant corruption. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that both Kirchner and former planning minister Julio Miguel De Vido, along with their immediate families, are ineligible for entry into the United States.
This decision follows Kirchner’s conviction in Argentina for embezzling public funds during her presidency from 2007 to 2015. In December 2022, she was sentenced to six years in prison and received a lifetime ban from holding public office. The conviction was upheld by an Argentine court in November 2024.

You can't compare what Milei did to Cristina. Night and day. I heard she has an apartment in the USA. I think Miami. Funny she can't visit it now.
That is for sure. A long time ago it hit the news that one of Hugo Chavez's daughters had something like $4 billion stashed in offshore bank accounts. God only knows how much was stashed between all his kids and relatives and cronies put together. This is the same Hugo Chavez, Christina Kirchner's good friend, who railed against wealthy people, calling them evil. If Las Vegas made a line on how much the Kirchners had stashed offshore and the over/under was $1 billion I would probably still bet the over.
Who knows how much Cristina has stashed away hidden. You are right Craig she must have tons hidden away. It has to be over $1 billion. It will be interesting if her kids have a future in politics. I heard her son did something but I wonder if he will get much traction at all.
Well Milei and his sister Karina have already started stealing. It is not too much different. It is not much different. They are doing the same thing.
I am glad she is banned. If you can't do the time do not do the crime.

$4 billion! Is this true? Craig you have to admit that the USA did not care about Cristina. Only until Milei cried and asked Trump to do something for him to help him. It is a bad look for the USA to do this only to help Milei. Very transparent.
You're probably right Avocado, the timing is a bit obvious. Regarding Chavez' daughter, yes I am sure, and it was a long time ago so she's probably worth far more now.
Of course the timing is suspicious. Look at all the things that Milei is doing now. Illegally trying to put Supreme Court judges with going through the proper channels! That is illegal. Imagine if Cristina tried to do this. All of you would be crying how corrupt she was and instead you stay silent on the issue. Even Macri who also tried to do the same thing said it was wrong.
Now look! Milei is trying to move up the elections from October to sooner. What a crook!

That must be fake news Larry. If he is really trying to do that then I will throw in the towel and admit you were right. But I doubt they can change the mid-term elections from October to earlier. But why don't they release more details about the IMF loan? I don't understand why it is all secretive and hush hush? I thought I read Caputo saying the IMF had no conditions for devaluation or any conditions at all but that doesn't sound like it is the case. I wish they would just release all the details and terms. We have the right to know what all the details and conditions are before taking the funds.
If there is a devaluation like the IMF wants there goes the election as inflation will go back up like before.

Well the timing also is because Marco Rubio recently became Secretary of State but he has been following the corruption of Cristina for many, many years. He just recently became Secretary of State. But yes the timing probably is helped by Milei and Trump's friendship. But you can follow some of the paper trail here below.
You can't compare Milei's scandal with Libra with the Kirchner's looting of Argentina for probably a billion dollars or more.
