Can't pass Radex finalise for residency renewal

Funny that Milei was telling New Yorkers they could emigrate to Argentina when most would give up as the system is so chaotic. Milei needs to overhaul and streamline the process.
apparently its a lot better and to be honest the only issue im having so far it that it apparently is still waiting to confirm my certificado de reincidencia which i paid for over a week ago

the problem is i dont even have that number yet because i cant finalize my application with the first set of documents (DNI, new picture and proof of 5 minimum payments for rentista crtireria) i just constantly receive the same message of wait 72 hours for confirmation of payment for certificado de reincidencia when i click finalize.

Im not exactly sure if its a problem with the system or something on my end but there is no clear information or anything on the website. I guess il have to visit the migraciones and ask there because I am running out of time to process by the end of my current visa in mid january
Just go down to Migraciones in person to ask them. You will run out of time if you don't go in person. Nothing happens here close to Christmas and January is a disaster.

Update.

After going to migraciones they printed off the paper with QR for the certificado de reincidencia which apparently should have been emailed to me but i never recieved. So the ones I paid for directly online were useless as they arent linked for some reason only when you pay in cash at ProvenciaNet.

So after paying in cash at a physical location, I was able to get an "appointment" which turned out to be just a rough time you go to queue up in a big line and wait for a ticket to submit the documents ( this took over 3 hours). Apparently everything went well but the woman was very stern and gave minimal answers to my questions about what happens next etc

Does anyone know exactly which number I use to check the status of the application I was advised it was the Tramite No on my DNI + d.o.b but that doesnt seem to register when I try to check.

Wow 3 hours. Sounds like a nightmare! I guess this is a reason people hire an immigration attorney. This does not sound fun.

this wait was for everyone even those with an attorney.

I still cant access my precaria on the migraciones wesbite, I was instructed to use the tramite no on the bottom of my DNI but when i enter that it tells me its not valid. the woman who processed my documents was honestly clueless so im not even sure that number is the correct file no to enter 😭

sounds like not much has changed with this department. Still utterly clueless.

Yuck. Does not sound like a fun process. Anything government related in Argentina always is a nightmare. I'm sorry you are going through this @Milton. What is your plan to just wait?

Yes I guess I have to just wait until it is processed and available to view on the migraciones website.

I wasn´t able to find any information online or in the forums and so asked venice ai what the problems could be and it is possible just a delay in them processing and making it available online contrary to what they told me at he appointment (it would be available in 24-48 hours and i could download the precaria). If that is the case then I just have to wait but the annoying thing is its not clear if my case number is actually the tramite number on my DNI or if there is another case number that I was not made aware of.

Nothing works here in Argentina. That is the problem. Red tape on top of red tape! They make things difficult and expensive just to do it. I had to get a certified copy of my passport! Imagine! They made me pay money to translate what was on my passport! You can't make this up.

Hey guys I need to renew my precaria as my application is still under review and 3 months have almost passed.

Can anyone advise me on how to renew the precaria? some sources tell me you have to go in person again to Migraciones and others say you can do it online around 10 days before it is due to expire.

Would appreciate anyone who has did the process recently to confirm.

Yikes you still haven't gotten this solved? Sounds like it might be a wise decision to just get an attorney to help. Sounds like you are running in circles.

My friend did this. He could never get the online to work so I'd skip that. I've never heard of anyone that said the online worked for them. You have to go in person to renew. Avoid border runs now and stay legal as it sounds like you are trying to stay legal.

Try emailing migraciones so you have proof that the issue is on their end. My friend had to write a pronto despacho to submit with his next renewal of his precaria saying he had the same issues that you are having. The pronto despacho is basically proof that you are having issues so it's not on your end. It helps if you have a lawyer and they also submit the pronto despacho and email it in. I'll see if my friend has a copy of that letter.

Can you ask your friend which lawyer did they use? I tried it online but it never works. Did you go here:

He used Paula Carello who he said was the only one that ever answered emails. Her email is pcarello@luxbrumalis.com.ar @Milton probably worth seeing if Paula can do some kind of consultation where she can walk you through it. This stuff is always changing.

Hi Bettna

Currently no circles are being run my application is submitted and in the queue for review which appears to be taking a long time hence my precaria expiring. An attorney would not speed anything up at this stage, but I assume you dont have any information or experience about renewing a precaria whilst in the process of renewing a temp visa?

Its possible that my period for renewal is not available yet, I read another post by a member here that it appears around 10 days before my current one expires.

I wanted to know if someone had recently renewed and could tell me for sure because as you say to stay legal I would need to arrange an appointment at migraciones before expiry and to prepare accordingly for that

This is who I heard was good. Almost none answer emails quickly. Very strange the immigration attorneys are so bad in Buenos Aires!

Can't you go to migraciones and ask them? I keep thinking probably the window of getting residency in Argentina keeps getting more difficult. I talked to many that just overstayed for years. I guess those days are over.
