Free Admission

Avenida de Mayo will once again fill with flavors, colors, and traditions for a new edition of BA Celebrates Communities, the event that pays tribute to the cultural diversity of Buenos Aires. The gathering, held on Avenida de Mayo between Avenida 9 de Julio and Bolívar, will feature the participation of more than 110 institutions representing communities from around the world.

Under the theme One city, many cultures and organized by the City’s General Directorate of Communities and Migrants, the initiative seeks to create a space for exchange and integration where the different communities that have lived in Buenos Aires since its founding can share their roots, customs, and cultural expressions.

Two Stages

The main stage will be located at 9 de Julio and Bolívar and will offer music, dance, and artistic performances representative of the various communities.

The second stage will be set up near Tacuarí Street and will feature exhibitions and activities related to more contemporary cultural expressions.

Gastronomy

Stands offering traditional dishes from different corners of the world: from Galician empanadas, tequeños, and traditional sausages to ramen, shawarma, and all kinds of sweet and savory delights. There will also be stands with crafts, cultural displays, and institutional information representing each community.

In its tenth edition, BA Celebrates invites you to rediscover the identity of Buenos Aires through the intercultural interaction that shaped it, and to travel the world without leaving the city.
