Travel Best places to stay in Buenos Aires?

Hey everyone!

I’m planning a trip to Buenos Aires and I was wondering: what are the best neighborhoods to stay in as a tourist?

I’d love to be somewhere safe, walkable, and with good access to public transportation. Cafes, parks, local shops, and interesting architecture are a big plus too. I’m also hoping to experience a bit of local culture without being too far from the main attractions.

Any tips or personal favorites? I’d really appreciate the help!

Recoleta is my personal favorite. It’s elegant, very safe, and has beautiful architecture. You’ll find lots of museums, historic spots, and green spaces like Plaza Francia. It’s also close to the center without being noisy.
Recoleta was my favorite too and for the same reasons, especially the architecture. We stayed in Palermo Soho which is a wonderful neighborhood with lots of amenities but lacks the charm. If you like walking, Palermo Chico is right next to the huge network of parks with miles of walking trails, tennis clubs, etc. it's very safe and also very high end.

I love Recoleta and live here. It is my favorite neighborhood by a long shot. I love all of the older buildings that are so beautiful. I also enjoy that everything I need is all within a few blocks of my apartment. Palermo Chico is also nice but not too convenient for many things as there aren't nearly as many stores and shops as Recoleta.
