Being Black in Argentina: Experiences and Acceptance

For the average person, the things that have the most impact in their ability to succeed in life are:
1. True grit
2. Intelligence
3. Quality of parenting
4. Quality of education
5. Good health

The color of one's skin, country of origin, religion, sex / gender, and even family wealth are all secondary.

Absolutely agree with you Tony. I don't think it matters what race you are. All of these things that you mentioned will help you go far in life.

Correct! I am proof of this. My parents moved from Thailand to the USA with not much and made a great life for me and my siblings who are all very successful. These things above that Tony mentioned can't be stated enough. Probably the same for any country.

In BA I didn't see many black people at all in all my trips so far. But I don't think that matters. Everyone that I met was very friendly.
