It is funny how the same people that were complaining about Cristina and Alberto for all their fraud yet when their side does it they stay quiet or say move on already. This scandal is just embarrassing for Argentina and Milei. He sells himself as a Libertarian but he is not. A true Libertarian defends private property, trust and the foundation for a peaceful society.
Using his office to legitimize a shady scam destroys long term trust in Argentina and it signals to everyone else in his administration and the other side too that scams are ok. It just fuels corruption. Slogans and saying you are a libertarian don't make you one.

That is always how it is. It's ok if your side cheats/lies/steals. But not the other. That is the golden rule in Argentine politics.
Milei said he didn't know this guy and now old videos are showing up.
Not to mention the 30 calls to/from Milei and his sister to this huckster.

Any honest people were pushed out.
Vicky was pushed out because she was honest and refused to steal or cheat. She is looking better and better for the future. I would vote for her. She knew this was going to happen. Now I understand why she had to raise salaries so much but they are still all stealing and lying. Now they stop some newspapers and reporters from attending the weekly press conferences so they can't ask any important questions.

I don't think it is any secret this government is bilking all they can. It was all so promising but they are crashing and burning. Now almost every week my family that knows I live here in BA send me articles about how corrupt Milei is. I just have to shrug my shoulders and say not as bad as before but only so long you can do that.
Today Milei even admitted that maybe he will have to go back to the private sector in 2027.
I can't believe I just spent a few hours and went through all the posts on this thread. Wow the funny thing is Milei was criticizing the PM of Spain's wife of fraud and corruption and everything I'm reading is worse. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
@Cardiac Arrest where was he talking about the private sector? Are things so bad that he would get impeached or does he mean the re-election campaign?
