I disagree Avocado, you have a very narrow lens on this matter. Most of us have been plenty critical of Milei regarding this amateur crypto scam. I have yet to hear you utter a single bad word about the Kirchners or any of their ilk.

Totally agree! I have been very fierce on my criticism to President Milei. It was terribly stupid. I have told his staff the same thing to their faces. It was terrible and I can't believe people are still defending this. Not everyone has criticized it but I know I have and guys like @CraigM and plenty other expats that support him as well.
Agree that he was in on it. There is a lot of temptation to make "easy money" on this. Mistakes will happen on the way but they need to learn from this and NOT do it again. CFK did it over and over again and the citizens enabled it and allowed it. We can't have that with President Milei. The problem is with ignorant people that blindly support him.
Look at this post on X from yesterday. This moron actually is using austerity as the reason not to investigate. LOL.

Plenty of us that like Milei have said how dumb this was Avocado. Take off the blinders. The problem I see in Argentina is both sides lock in and they can't see their man/woman doing anything wrong.

There are definitely ignorant and blind people that will blindly support their candidate no matter what they are doing. They will blindly make excuses or justify they did nothing wrong. I see it in Argentina all the time by both sides. Argentina can't progress as a nation until these people change their mentality and thinking.

Well not many Milei supporters will admit he did wrong. Most keep making excuses for him or defend him. When it is very clear what he did and it's not even the first time. All my friends locally that support Milei make every excuse under the sun that he wasn't involved even though the evidence is clear.
This person is the typical type of local that enables corruption and can't admit reality.
I went to that link on X and he even makes arguments of how stupid Milei was to do what he does. But still defends Milei and says it was someone else. He is arguing against himself but he still can't face reality of how stupid this was of Milei. It is like people can't admit when their President or leader makes a mistake or is corrupt. They find every excuse under the sun. Seen it with CFK supporters too.
Can't say this is unsurprising. Milei cleared of any wrong doing. Cristina 2.0
