Are salaries this low for expats or locals???

Look at the slave wages that Argentines are getting from foreigner expats.

Nanny working 35 hours a week only making $313 dollars a month. ☠️
I did notice that. Was surprised to see so little. That is almost the minimum wage. Just goes to show you how low the wages are right now. Almost all of his posts are about how great Argentina is under Milei but then says he is paying almost a full time working nanny minimum wage.

I think that salary you are seeing is from last year. The newest one says $441.38 dollars a month. I agree still very low for a monthly salary working 35 hours a week. I guess that is why so many are complaining about the high prices. Honestly don't know how many are making it with prices so high.

I don't think his amount for groceries is accurate with a family of 4. I spend over that myself for groceries.

Totally agree. I went to the crappy grocery stores in BA and was surprised how bad they were. And prices were much higher for many things vs. US. My attitude is if you can't trust one thing in that budget I would question other things. Locals in that thread were calling him out asking how it can be that low for a family of 4. When I was in BA I ate out a lot but I still bought groceries too and spent more than that for myself. I can't imagine having a wife and kids.
