Anyone renewed their USA passport in Buenos Aires? Any recent experiences?

My USA passport is coming up for renewal in a few months. I won't be heading back to the USA anytime soon. Is it easy to renew at the USA embassy in Buenos Aires?

Very easy. I just recently did it. Just fill out the required forms and have the passport and you can drop it off at the US Embassy in person and they will DHL to you within 2 weeks. Very quick and easy. You need to make an appointment on their website but very easy.

This is correct. ˆ I have also renewed my U.S. passport here in BA. Mine took about 3 weeks.
