Agree with you on this. Some of the prices here are very puzzling. I just paid the equivalent of $25 last night for a medium cheese pizza. Uber prices have jumped up like crazy too. I paid 19,000 pesos from Palermo Soho to Recoleta last night with no traffic.
I get that salaries have gone up since last year but the prices have gone up more than their raises. It is true inflation has slowed down for some things at the supermarket but plenty of stuff keeps going up at shocking rates. My friends keep complaining their kids tuition keeps going up. Most of them are paying $1,000 dollars a month per child now which seems expensive to me. I don't have kids but I wouldn't afford to have kids in Buenos Aires.
