I agree. Even US lawmakers have officially stepped in. Just this week (March 2026), nearly 70 members of Congress sent a letter to FIFA calling the pricing an "exclusionary enterprise." When seeing the US play Australia in Seattle costs a minimum of $265 for the worst seat in the house, it’s hard to argue otherwise.

I doubt any of that will slow down sales. There are fans all over the world that will jump and get them. Especially this year because some games are in Mexico too. And since it's in the USA it's easy for many Mexicans to attend games. I have a lot of Argentine friends that already have their tickets. But they are on the wealthier side.

Oh yeah Canada. Are they still a country? Seriously, I don't know anyone going to Canada for the World Cup but I do have Argentine friends going to Kansas City to go to games. I didn't even know they were playing there but a friend told me he has tickets to go there.

Mike is going to manage that apartment too. If I go in June I will see you and we can plan some things. I've stayed in that apartment many times over the past 7 years. You're going to love it! My apartment is on the same floor. There are only 3 apartments on that floor.

We also partnered and bought an Oceanview penthouse apartment they are building in Cabo, Mexico now. It's almost done. Probably in October it will be done. I can't wait!

Wow what a view! I haven't been to Guadalajara in a long time. They have some great food there! Ben don't forget to order some torta ahogadas. Delicious! The only place you can get the are in Guadalajara. One of my favorite things from that place. Have fun!

Soccer fans do NOT boycott the World Cup. 😎 Simply too many die hard fans around the world. I have many friends that go every single one with their families. It doesn't matter where it is or how much it costs. Take the fans from each country playing all trying to get tickets and they always sell out and resale market is hot too.

Sorry I would TOTALLY go down but I'm traveling for 7 weeks around Asia (Japan/China/South Korea) with my family. It will be quite the adventure. I'm especially looking forward to traveling around China. Heard great things about it.

Totally agree with you @Cheap Bastard! Andares is great. My place is about 5 minutes from it. Agree about the beautiful girls. Guadalajara has the most beautiful females in Mexico. Johnny and I are mostly eating and going out around Andares since it's so close to my place.

Johhny's is not facing the golf course. He still has a great view of the city but mine is on the corner. His is on the other corner. We have most of the entire floor. We have a 2 bedroom apartment between ours (ours are 3 bedroom places). We are talking to the guy about buying his unit in the middle so we have the entire floor.

It will be amazing. My place has been the #1 ranked Airbnb in Guadalajara for like 7 years in a row so I'm very happy. Love going down there.

I was wondering if they would move locations for the Mexico matches but I figured it would be impossible to change at the last minute. It looks like things totally calmed down in Guadalajara. Just a day or two. Cartel showing the government who is really in charge.

Very beautiful place @earlyretirement. I just saw your Airbnb listing. What great reviews. Almost 200 reviews. Wow, it looks busy. I just looked at the map and I didn't realize Oracle had such a large campus in Guadalajara. It looks like it's just down the street from you. That can't hurt for corporate business I'm sure. Well done. I will keep it in mind for my next trip. I love going over to Tequila. My sister in law is from Guadalajara so we have been there several times. We usually stay at the Hyatt Andares which is close to your apartment but this would be easier because we usually go there with my brother and his wife.
