On top of that the value of the peso is not being heavily controlled anymore by the government like it previously was with the 'cepo cambiario'. So this idea of the peso being overvalued or undervalued is not valid anymore.
We've suffer almost 2 decades of economic restrictions and economic disasters from previous governments so it is expectable. However now things are changing and big construction companies would accept US$ bank transfers even from US bank accounts.

I temporarily moved to an apart-hotel in that area, I love it. There are a few new buildings that look very interesting. The whole area is being actively developed, just a few blocks from Puerto Madero makes it a great area for investing.
