It is obvious that the US will end up getting what they want out of this as long as power doesn't shift back to Peronism. If that happens, not sure if they will continue helping out. Trump said as much.

If it's a Peronist then perhaps the US follows China's playbook, bribe govt officials and throw in a few goodies like bridges and schools for the masses.
