Bookstore Night is here!
Join us for over 50 activities in different neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. This year, the event expands beyond the traditional hub on Corrientes Street, activating circuits in Palermo/Villa Crespo, San Telmo and Villa Ortúzar–Colegiales, Liniers, Belgrano, and Núñez.
More than 45 bookstores and cultural spaces are participating with books on the street, activations, presentations, live shows, artistic interventions, readings, and more.
Don't miss this encounter with literature and its enjoyment, which for one night proposes a meeting point between writers, readers and booksellers.
This edition will add new neighborhoods to the circuits ; themed stages; graphic arts spaces with live illustrations, comics, graphic novels and illustrated books; a space for children and families with participatory activities, workshops, collective constructions and exhibitions of objects for young people and children, plus participatory activities to stimulate illustration, poetry and writing.
In addition, new benefits will be offered with banks, there will be discounts —both in bookstores and in gastronomy— and payment methods will be added.
Which are the main circuits prepared to receive the public during the night:
- Corrientes Avenue + Lavalle pedestrian walkway: 6 stages and cultural events along the avenue featuring talks, presentations, debates, and music with prominent figures from the book world. There, more than 20 bookstores along the main avenue will showcase their new releases, set up tables on the street, and offer special discounts, while on Lavalle pedestrian walkway there will be musical performances and food options.
- Neighborhood Bookstore Circuits: Bookstore Night will expand to other neighborhoods so that more residents and visitors can enjoy this evening anywhere in the city. This year, new bookstore routes will be added, offering nighttime activities in Palermo, Villa Crespo, San Telmo, Villa Ortúzar, Almagro, Chacarita, Belgrano, Coghlan, Caballito, and Liniers.
