Hello everyone,

What an incredible week it's been! This place is truly amazing.

My wife and I landed on November 1st, so we're one week into this exciting adventure. We're planning to stay for at least a year. My wife was invited by her employer to come and work here, so she has a work visa. In contrast, I have a regular year-long visa.

We've been thoroughly enjoying exploring the city, taking in all the fascinating differences between here and our hometown in the US. It's a significant change, but a very welcome one. We packed up our entire house, stored our belongings, and narrowed down our possessions (mostly clothes) to just three suitcases before hopping on the plane. It feels liberating to be so "light"! It turns out we didn't really need 80% of the stuff we accumulated over the past few years, and not having it now, and not missing it, is quite refreshing.

Surprisingly, not having a vehicle hasn't been a hassle at all. I initially thought it would be, but I haven't missed having a car or truck. I do miss riding motorcycles, though. That's a passion of mine.

We've already picked up a few things about living here, and we're eager to share our experiences and learn from those of you who have been here longer and know more. Right now, we're getting ready for a three-night engagement with Taylor Swift. She'll be performing just a couple of blocks away from us. Oh, by the way, we're currently in Belgrano.

Thanks for welcoming me! Goodbye.
