Is there anywhere to buy reasonably priced almonds here in BA

I think the chorizo is tough to find. I also need a good butcher. I get it at the supermarket and terrible!

Here is where I go for sausage. Piaf. They have a massive meat counter that sells plain breakfast-style sausages (often called salchichas tipo Vienaor de copetín), and they also have a full pantry section loaded with nuts, including cashews "castañas de caju" and they also have almonds "almendras".

There's a place on Federico La Croze that sells both -- and more.
I think you mean Cuatro Quesos. This is more of a gourmet deli but they have this sausage and also cashews and almonds.

Piaf is great. That's where I go.

Corte Carniceria is the best of the best. It's my butcher of choice in Belgrano. It's on Av. Olazábal 1391. If you like chorizo you're in for a treat! They have it with garlic, jalapeño, curry, criollo, and many different spices. They also deliver. Their beef is also the best.

This also excellent!
