Correo Argentino Asked for Proof of Residency – Help!

Hey! Quick question, I’m here on a digital nomad visa, so I don’t have a DNI (and as far as I know, I’m not eligible for one). I went to pick up a package from Canada today at Correo Argentino, and the guy there told me I need some kind of proof of residency, he mentioned something like an “Almacen Endas” (not sure I even got that right?).

I’m a bit lost on what to do next, and I can’t find any solid info online. Has anyone else gone through this? Any tips or suggestions on what to bring or where to go?

Honestly, it’s best to order from sellers who handle the whole customs process for you. Amazon is a good example, yeah, sometimes it takes a while, but at least you know it’ll get delivered to your door or you’ll get a full refund if something goes wrong.
Dealing with Correo Argentino can be super hit or miss, especially if you don’t have a DNI or the "right" paperwork. When you buy from platforms that already include taxes, customs, and shipping in the final price, it saves you a ton of stress and running around.
I’ve had packages stuck for weeks because of unclear paperwork or random new rules. Ever since I switched to using sellers that handle it all, it’s been way smoother. Might be a bit pricier upfront, but totally worth it for the peace of mind.

You’re probably not gonna be able to get that package. In the end, they need a CUIT or CUIL for tax reasons, and that’s why they’re not releasing it. There’s a limit of 5 international shipments per year per person, and that’s how they keep track, no DNI or tax ID, no go.
Honestly, it’s usually not a great idea to have stuff sent from abroad unless it’s through a private courier. Services like Grabr are a much better option, yeah, they charge a bit more, but you actually get your stuff.

Has anyone used Grabr lately to send to Buenos Aires? I tried to put something and no one accepted it. I hate to ask but @earlyretirement are you coming to Buenos Aires any time soon? I'd be happy to pay you whatever Grabr charges. I need a new iPhone.

I have noticed FAR less tourists coming to BA. I order on Grabr and usually orders are fulfilled quickly but lately weeks and weeks go by with no one taking the order which means to me that tourism is dead.
