The Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards have named Buenos Aires the best city in the world to visit in 2026. With more than 4.8 million votes cast by readers worldwide, the 24th edition of these awards positioned the Argentine capital as a key destination for this year.

Incredible! All my friends that come here fall in love with the city. It is good to see Buenos Aires at the top of these lists. Quite an honor.

Great city indeed. I still think the food is overrated here but there is a lot of energy. All my friends that went to the conference in Buenos Aires in November loved it. I knew many from all over the world and it was their first time in BA and they all raved about the city. Not one person didn't like it.
