It feels like as expats we are forced to support Milei because he's making the country more expensive eg 'richer.' If you are an expat who doesn't support Milei you are a parasite who is angry Argentina is no longer cheap and you hate the Argentine people and want them to suffer for your selfish benefit.
"You want Porteños to suffer so you can eat $5 steaks" is something I've heard.
But honestly Argentina from like 2001 to 2010 was so something really special in my opinion. It had a feeling like no other country in the world and I have been to and done business in most of them, Argentina was special in a way that if you didn't visit in the 2000s you can never understand, sorry. I will honestly never forget that early 2000s Argentina feeling.
Now what is it? Some crappy USA light with higher prices. I miss Cristina and I don't care who knows it
