Argentina’s small and medium-sized businesses brace for total devastation

And this doesn't count the number of companies that haven't paid their employees for the past month. Many are behind paying their staff. My friend works at Granja Tres Arroyos and he hasn't been paid in 1.5 months including their bonus they were supposed to get in December.

If the Argentina peso is truly overvalued

The IMF and USA money is keeping this anti-free market exchange rate going. People can argue if it is manipulated or not but it is and prices will stay out of control if this keeps up.

What is the future of the Art and Cinema world under President Milei with all the funding cuts?

I concur with the notion that compromise is an essential element in governance. What is the future of the Art and Cinema world under President Milei with all the funding cuts?

Ah, Milei and his fellow fiscal conservatives – they're like the anti-art crusaders, wielding their budgetary swords without a care for the existential magic of the arts. Prestige, international recognition, tourism dollars – it's like they missed the memo on the secret sauce for a nation's...

What is the future of the Art and Cinema world under President Milei with all the funding cuts?

It appears that many, if not all, cultural institutions funded by the government could likely function more efficiently with proper oversight. The answer doesn't lie in their elimination but in holding them accountable. An example of the challenges within these institutions is Paloma Herrera's...

What is the future of the Art and Cinema world under President Milei with all the funding cuts?

It's undeniable that the Teatro Colon could benefit from streamlining its operations to become more efficient. However, the resistance to reform from the strong union complicates the process. Even with improved efficiency, the reality is that the theater will still require subsidies, especially...

Economy Dollarization of Argentina 101 - Can we agree on what it means and how it would be accomplished?

Any guesses where we think the Blue dollar exchange rate will head in 2024?

@Bobbie Burgers funny you should name drop about your golf match with el Presidente! I happened to be in Florida on Saturday and I played Chinese checkers with President Joe Biden. Engaging in a game of checkers with Biden was an interesting experience. I asked him about the USA economy and...

What happens if Argentina gets too expensive? What are alternative cities/countries to move to when it's overpriced in Argentina?
